Cross country
A few weeks back, my older brother and I left California on a 7 day cross-country drive that would leave me in New York at the end. 14 states, 3,400 miles, 1 speeding ticket and a lost skateboard. Fucking great time. Here’s how it looked. -A.

Moving on.
For the past 3 years, we’ve had a pretty good thing going on at our apartment complex, Tyler and I upstairs, friends downstairs (and for a short stint we had people living next door too). Because of some unexpected events and some financial strain, everyone from downstairs has left the nest, It appears that we are on our own now. These were the last days. -A.

Kenneth Cappello
Last week I shot Kenneth Cappello for hypebeast. Going into it, I definitely felt a little intimidated shooting a big name in photography, but we ended up getting along just fine and spent most of the 2 hour session shooting the shit and talking about skating. Read the full interview HERE -A.

Fanfarlo at the El Rey
I shot a show for beatcrave.com last weekend. I had never heard fanfarlo before, but they had a solid sound, good stage presence. Only complaint was that they were on the Arcade Fire / Beirut tip pretty hard and there music was a little too reminiscent of it. -A.

NO CANCER
Last Sunday, there was a concert benefit held for a friend’s mom who is battling cancer. The event was a success with no tickets left to sell at the door. Performances included: Vivian Girls, No Age, Darker my Love, Best Coast, Nodzzz, Abe Vigoda, Wounded Lion, Graham Forest, Animal Style, and several different DJ sets. -A.

MC Rey 3 Video shoot
It has been raining for the past week in LA. No skating, no dog parks.. I got a phone call from Mike Marasco in the morning asking if I’d like to shoot photos during a hip hop video that he was filming featuring our friends Tony and Mariano. A.A. Bondy
On Saturday night, Jody sent me to shoot A.A. Bondy’s show at the echo. I left halfway through the set after being harshed by some vertically challenged concert-goers.
